Powering and installation

The iPanel requires a 350 mA constant current LED driver. The operating voltage of a single fixture is approximately 27–28 V, and inside there are 9 LED light sources of about 1 W each.

Each fixture can be powered individually or connected in series with other iPanels. In a series connection:

• the driver current remains the same (350 mA),

• the total voltage equals the sum of all connected fixtures (e.g. two panels require approx. 54–56 V).

When selecting a constant current driver, always ensure that:

• the output current does not exceed 350 mA,

• the output voltage range covers the total voltage of all connected iPanels.

Using dimmable constant current drivers is possible as long as the above driving rules are respected.

For safety and long-term reliability:

• use only constant current LED drivers suitable for this type of fixture,

• always connect the fixture(s) to the driver before applying 230 V mains voltage,

• have the installation and wiring carried out by a qualified electrician.
